'Vettaikaaran' Shooting Starts from March 9 !!!

Ilayathalapathy was the chief guest at a college function held in the city recently. Admist cheers and whistles, the actor said, “I would like to be sitting with you rather than addressing you from the stage.” College authorities say that they ran out of chairs to seat students at the event. Looks like the star is all set to go back to college! Meanwhile, the actor has decided to go for a popular MGR title (Vettaikaran) for his new film for AVM’s Balasubramanian and son Gurunath Meiyappan. The film’s pooja was held recently at AVM Film Studio’s famous Pillayar Kovil (Vinayagar Temple). Among those who participated in it were Vijay and his wife Sangeetha, S A Chandrasekar, director Babu Sivan, music director Vijay Antony, cameraman Gopinath and director Dharani. Vettaikaran, which is Vijay’s 49th film, will be an action adventure film. Anushka will play Vijay’s pair in the film. Shooting for this movie will start on March 9.
